- Again like previous shoots, my main role was to do the filming process of the shoot, the majority of shots filmed I used a Steadicam to capture smooth movements for shots like when both our characters are shown walking together. I also made frequent use of the tripod to capture some still shots and others that we hope to use to fade Harry's character out in certain parts of the video.
- I also took our group to various locations in the park that I planned on using and included in the storyboarding, at these locations I would direct the actors as to what movements they should make, what their non-verbal language should be like and how fast to move in each shot.
Which shots were less successful or problematic? Why was this?
- There were little to none shots that we actually struggled capturing, sometimes shots were hard to frame to the optimum quality and hard to reveal both characters in frame at some points. The only shot had little success was one of our storyboarded shots that framed the reflection of the two brothers as they look into a stream, showing them enjoying themselves. However, when we tried to capture the shot, the reflections were very hard to make out and too far out of frame to understand which character was which.
- Because of this, we decided to move on so that our time management was efficient and have decided to try and re-film this shot at the Bedgebury Park location on Sunday.
- There were moments where the changes in weather proved as a challenge, this included raining for a portion of the shoot in which we had to pack away equipment and wait for it to stop, wasting some time. The changes in weather also did not match well as some shots would look relatively bright and sunny whereas others would be cloudy and darker, to respond to this we visited locations under a lot of shelter from the trees so that the weather in shot was hardly noticeable and to make shots look more realistically continuous when edited into the video.
- Also, in some shots there were members of the public in the background or walking past meaning some time was wasted because of this, however we re-shot when this happened and still managed to capture all the shots we believe we needed.

- During the shoot, due to the fact that it was in a park with a lot of autumn scenery that could reflect the sadness of the song, we experimented with framing different shots of our protagonist (George) looking upset or alone with this scenery surrounding him.
- We only practiced this here as we are shooting again on Sunday at Bedgebury Park, where the scenery is of a lot higher quality and in some areas trees are positioned in rows which we believe may look very effective in the frame with George in the center.
