This shot is very unique, and almost spooky. This is because all the audience can see is a single hand above the television. This shot is evidence of a medium close-up, this is because the focal point is the hand, and the audience can identify the general look of the hand.
This shot is evidence of a high angle shot, as well as this, it is also used as a point-of-view shot of the male. It is a very unusual shot, and is also a mid-shot, as some of the objects in the room are obtrusive. As well as this, the shot is focussing very much on the man’s arm, and the other objects in the background are out of focus.
This is a bird’s eye view shot. I like this shot because of
the camera movement, as it zooms in on the distressed man, giving the audience
further detail of his physical characteristics and his facial expression. In
terms o9f the distance of the shot, is a mid-shot, as the audience are able to
see his physical appearance.
This shot is evidence of the notion of looking, this is
because the image is inside the television and is therefore a screen within a
screen. Furthermore, it is an effective
shot as it is a point-of-view shot, and therefore the audience can see exactly
what the man is seeing. In terms of distance, this shot is a mid-shot, as the
audience are able to see the full image of the two male singers on the screen.
This shot is evidence of a medium long-shot, this is because
the audience are able to see everything in the scene. This enables the viewer
to see the whole of the room, and is therefore able to build up an
understanding of the male because of the iconography. In terms of movement, it
zooms out from a mid-shot to a medium long-shot.
Excellent work Harry and very good selection of video to illustrate the purpose of the task
