GT-Digipak Production Task

  • Across the entire album cover a grain effect has been used, showing a deteriorated, aged appearance. This has been added to every single brick in the background only, in order to allow the bodies to stand out.
  • A chrome effect covering the faces and hands of each group member has been added also. This has given the album cover a degree of enigma, through simple anonymity. This accompanies the title 'Void', as the chrome effect has made the image empty and unfulfilled. This was accomplished with the magic brush tool that was capable of selecting fairly precisely the faces and hands with little error.
  • The font "Lucida Calligraphy", is used to add affluence to the overall image of the album cover.
  • The poses themselves are very conventional of many album covers, as they are colloquial and ordinary.
