Pitch Progression from AS

More Visual Evidence

Since a large proportion of our coursework is visual, we want to provide a better insight into our aims and objectives when shooting our music video by including stills of the locations, actors and costumes and props. This will also contribute to improving our planning and organisation as everything we need for shooting will be listed in our pitch.

More Detailed Treatment

We want our treatment to thoroughly outline the vents of music video, in order to allow an understanding of the depth and meanings of the track as well as aiding our filming of the video. By outlining the narrative we will be more organised overall.

Thorough Idea of Cast

In order to accurately portray our concepts for the music video we will need an ideal cast, capable of displaying emotions and correct body language, as well as having the dark image we're picturing for the video. We also need to make sure all members of the cast are available for filming on each day we need them.

Extensive Storyboarding

Extensive storyboarding was another weakness of ours last year, when filming the horror sequence. We were lucky enough to conclude our project with a strong film sequence, as very few of the shots we took were planned before the shoot. We can avoid this occurring again if our storyboard is completed thoroughly, so we can use the template constructively.

Planning and Organisation

All of these potential progressions will improve the quality of our video, and allow us to be more organised throughout the entire project, which was a weakness within our group on our previous project.
